The Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission are three of the Commonwealth’s key regulatory agencies.
All have important regulatory functions which impact on all businesses, large and small. Learn more about their compliance focus in the Northern Territory, in a panel discussion with senior officers from each agency with NT responsibility.
This session will be a facilitated discussion, with panel members providing an overview of their agency’s activities in the NT, together with responses to questions.
Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance, and there will also be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the session.
Practitioners will develop an understanding of the compliance focus of the major Commonwealth business regulators, and identify potential risks that clients may face. Identify opportunities to be pro-active in helping clients avoid potential regulatory pitfalls.
